AMSOIL Industrial BENZ GARD Rust Preventive is a water-based, non-flammable formula designed to protect metals indoors during process, storage or shipment for more than one year. Its phantom emulsifying system leaves a dry, waxy film after curing that does not re-emulsify with water.


  • Thixotropic nature sets a consistent 1-2 mil film when sprayed, dipped or brushed onto any type of metal.
  • Cured, dry film will not soak packaging or storage bins.
  • Water-based formula eliminates the use of flammable solvent carriers.
  • Tough film is easily removed using alkaline cleaner or solvent.
